hello Mrs Graybeard,i didnt take long for things to get going here.this is a good bunch and i think they will get along good here.they always did on the other nef talk.i think there will be more showing up. i have been posting on the yahoo group telling them of this new site.

Thank you for setting up this site for us H+R/NEF refugees. It is greatly appreciated. I'm sure we all feel abandoned and homeless because of the actions taken by the administration of H+R/NEF. We have all made good friends there and shared hours of time together, it was like losing family.

Thanks to you for your kind welcome.

It has been amazing for me to belong to this online community, and now to see that it really is a community that can survive an upheaval like unhosting, it really is amazing.

After the cool corporate indifference of H&R, is is unusual to have a real live MRS Greybeard welcoming us. Unusual, but very much appreciated.

Where did this board and all these folks come from? I am a humble .410 owner, says Marlin on the barrel, made bye NEF. I taught my youngest boy to shoot hand thrown clays with it. Cut the stock down so it fit him, recently bought a new one from Numrich Arms to fit Me, I'm going to shoot some birds with it.

I've also changed my name on the old NEF site from "scruffy" to
"scruffy - at graybeardoutdoors.com" and have left if signed in and am hitting refresh every so often to keep it in the logged in users list. I did this after seeing Jeff223 did the same thing - good idea Jeff! Anybody looking at that sight now will hopefully come over here to investigate

Nope, nothing on 338, I haven't even seen him sign in when I've been logged in here keeping an eye over there. But I just saw that coltrane logged into h&r talk, he should see both out changed names now and hopefully come on over!

Scruffy/BBF, If I ain't mistaken he is already here, 338 that is. Checked the memberlist link and there is a 338 from Michigan on that list. I could be mistaken, if I am it won't be the first time. :wink: :oops:
