 Obama Gets Taxpayers to Pay for 3-State Campaign Bus Tour  7/28/12

The political nature of Obama's trip so blatant that the biased media wing of the Democrats' party is not even trying to hide it:
 

• The Voice of America calls the bus tour a "Three-State Counteroffensive."
• Reuters refers to the bus tour as "campaign mode" and "unmistakable campaign style."
• The Associated Press reports that Obama starts a "political counteroffensive this week."

So if this is political... Why does Obama have the taxpayers pay for it?
Jay Carney, WH Press Secretary defends the trip but admits there is no details on what will happen.
 

MR. CARNEY: I mean, he will get out -- very happily getting out in the country again, after a sustained period here in Washington. And he will -- he looks forward to talking to folks about growing the economy, creating jobs. And we’ll have more details, again, as I said, about the specifics of the trip later.
MR. CARNEY: Again, we’ll have more specifics about this trip itself. The air of cynicism is quite thick. The idea that the President of the United States should not venture forth into the country is ridiculous
