Not to worry. The Mormon book of nephi is not talking about the Christian Jesus, but is talking about the "Mormon Jesus". Brigham Young, Joseph Smith, and several other Mormon church founders have made it very clear in the Book of Mormon, that the Mormon Christ WAS NOT born of the "Holy Ghost", or a "Virgin Birth", and further stated that the Christian Bible WAS WRONG on this matter. So the guy your talkin about in the the book of nephi is just some poor guy in the wrong place at the wrong time, and happened to be named Jesus.
Romney and other Mormons, by the way also believe, and Romney personally, has taught that Christ will rule from "Independence Missouri". See? Different Christ entirely.
