mono pod, bipod or tripod what are you using pros and cons?

not as young or steady anymore, seeing more and more hunters using a variation of the above, what are you using brand type, pros and cons?

Bog Pod tri pod is the way to go IMO ;)


I have used all three and there is no comparison.

do you use the red devil or the camo version other than color i noticed each has a different leg locking mechanism?

I use the old red ones that twist to lock.  They were on sale a few years ago when I bought them.  They are light weight and easy to carry.  They are a little spendy but are nice and light.  Great for use with a rifle or hand gun.  What do you plan on using them for?

have a muzzleloader elk hunt in Carson natl Forrest here in nm, using a cva optima, good groups out to 200 yards off the bench, hoping for a closer shot but cross canyon shots are not that uncommon here, was looking at adding the mtm adapter that mounts a spotting scope to the side of the rest what do you think

I agree. I dont have a true bog pod but made a copy myself using a good camera tripod.
Bog Pod tri pod is the way to go IMO ;)
