I am thinking about building up a 357. I have never seen one in stores so i figure i will send the frame in to get a new barrel put on. I have done this in the past so i dont mind at all. But that means that if i buy a complete Handi i will be selling the barrel that it comes with. Any in put as to which callibers are easier to sell? I seem to remember that people like the 45-70 and think a 270 i had was kind of hard to sell. Any thoughts?

If you're buying one to sell go for a 30-30 or 45-70. Either one of them will probably sell about 5 minutes after you post them if the price is right.

Buy the one you like the best ! After all it will be followed by more................ after you shoot it to check out the action before you send it in for the 357 barrel

thanks for the info guys. I will keep a eye out for those listed during my hunt. What about a Youth model 243 with iron sights barrel? I found one of these Handis used and will be taking a look at it. It is almost just what i want because i really like the short stock. I acualy kind of like the iron sights on the barrel. But it will probably have to go to fund the 357 barrel. Anyone else like these little youth barrels?

I like the youth barrels with sights. They're great for the thick woods.

If its not. 357 or bigger it aint woth having. Right BB . Ynless its a 300rimmed aac
