Thanks to HMR Cannons

I finally got to go out and shoot that new mortar I got from one of our dearest sponsors, HMR Cannons. There is nothing like that first shot from that mortar or cannon.
Thanks again Ed. For the rest of you, here is a little fire and smoke.

Very cool.  What size powder charge did you use?  Congratulations on the new and neccessary mortar.

The load was 100 gr FFg and one well used golfball.
Has a nice little ring to it. Can't hear it on the video but you can when you are next to it.

RIP John. While on vacation July 4th 2013 in northern Wisconsin, he was ATVing with family and pulled ahead of everyone and took off at break-neck speed without a helmet. He lost control.....hit a tree....and the tree won.  He died instantly.

The one thing that you can almost always rely on research leading to, is more research.
