The department of agriculture is proud to announce they are providing more meals and assistance in the form of food stamps than ever before in their history. However the depatment of the interior wich runs our national parks urges you to not feed the animals lest the become dependent on handouts and not learn to fend for themselves. NOUGH SAID.

Park animals don't vote.  Food stamp recipients sometimes do vote--early and often.  The Interior Dept. should be put in charge of the food stamp program.

It is sad that many elected officials care more about the votes of welfare recipients than they do about the welfare of welfare recipients.
