I had thought I heard talk about a civilian trading gunfire with the perp. Maybe he was a CCW holder of some type? It may of just been early information that was not correct.
Seems one of the newer terms we will be hearing is "active shooter". That's got to get the adrenalin up responding to a call. I thought I read where after Columbine, the intent is to engage the shooter quickly once on the scene. It just takes one nut.
