What no Buckhammers?

I've got a 20 gauge Tracker 11 that loves the 2 3/4" Buckhammers so I had a several boxes and never paid much attention to the availability of them until I got down to just a few shells a week ago and went on line to look for some.   I found them but noticed they were listed as discontinued....What?   Not my favorite slug, it can't be!
I know I can still get them until the supply runs out, but I might as well start looking now.
Anyone have good luck with the Remington Premier AccuTip?   Lots of reviews but not that many using the Handi's.  They aren't as cheap as the Buckhammers but not as expensive as the others.

My culled down Handi's are the 45-70, and then I have a few others to keep it company...357 Mag/Max. .45 LC/.454 Casull Carbine, .243 Ultra, and 20 gauge Tracker II.

this was tossed around on the forum last year and I spoke to a service rep at remington and she stated they were shutting the buckhammer line down to save money. Stock up on them while you still can. the only ones I've had succsess with are the copper solids and thats only in my mossy slug guns.
PS my Tracker II really likes 2 3/4 lightfield hybrid express.

Yeah, I thought I had found the ultimate slug for my Tracker, and never dreamed that they would stop making them.   I never paid much attention after last deer season since I had about three boxes and if I had known they were discontinued I wouldn't have shot them out like I did, but  wasting them by shooting hogs, you go through shells fast and that was only 15 rounds. ;D
I did a little research today and found that the Lightfield Hybrids are fairly comparable to the Buckhammers, so they should shoot well out of my gun, so I may go ahead and order a couple of boxes and see how they do.

Thanks for the link as well. I just ordered 10 boxes and the shipping was $9.49. I have not been able to find any here in the Northeast (New Engkland) for a year at least....<><.... :)

For what its worth, I will be trying the Brenneke sliver slugs.20 ga., 3" x 1oz slug....Cost is close, Vel is close...we will see........Dam* I liked those Buckhammers......

Why don't you just order the Buckhammers on line using the above link? I did and it was easy. I even live in a socialist "ban" state and they have acknowledged the order and are sending them to me. Some companies will send ammo here and some will not....<><.... ::)

Massachusetts...My favorite state.......I hunt there...a lot.........Too bad the commies got to it...I would move there in a connecticut second.....Love Boston and everything west of 495....(ok, except the pioneer valley north to chicopee)...........

Last weekend's sales flyer from Dunham's Sporting Goods listed Buckhammers.  I was surprised to see that because I thought they were no longer available.  Are they making them again?

Yup it's a cryin shame, lots of us found a excellent shooting and performing slug in
buck hammers.

I bought my life's supply last year for
My 12 ga USH. My 20's like Hornady ammo....

I was test shooting for H&R in Gardner.  When the light weight ultra slug barrels were being brought out I was test shooting 10 of them in 12 ga.  I'm telling you that with the Buckhammers I shot 100 yd. groups that were simply one ragged hole.  That wasn't one time.  I was able to shoot groups like that many times.

The only hold back to shooting good groups was could you focus on shooting and not flinching.  Recoil was fast and hard.
