Out of the top ten richest members of congress eight of them are liberals that's 80% of the top 10. So much for your idea.
 
Most all of the liberals I know are very well off and most all of them share the idea that everyone except for them should divest themselves of all wealth and possessions for the sake of "the greater good."
 
Look at #3 on the list-John Kerry. He tried to dock his new yacht in Rhode Island to avoid having to pay $500,000 in taxes to poor innercity black children in Massachusetts. I guess everyone in Massachusetts except for him should be liable for sales taxes?
