does anyone here know what stainless alloy S&W uses for their N frame revolvers?, I need a for sure , not a guess, I know it is magnetic, but there are a host of ferritic SS alloys, thanks!

They do use different alloys in different parts.. it helps overcome SS's galling tendancies. I have no idea of the specifics.. What are you planning?
