I can explain this whole thieng: the guy is pro-life, he stepped in it verbally, and now the pro-choice gang wants to paint him as anti-women. Listening to NPR this morning, one of them types nailed it: she said he needs to aplogize, and he needs to be pro-choice (I'm paraphrasing).
Nothing much here. For years I'm said call the pro-choice crowd's bluff: tell 'em you'll support abortion in EVERY case of 'rape, incest, life of the mother...' if in return, they'll give up supporting it for any other reasons.
Dead silence - that 'rape, incest, life of the mother...' slogan is about making it hard to be anti-abortion, without getting tarred as anti-woman. Pure BS.
