Send Dinny the money, but..
....I provided the barrel, and mailed it and
 ...the parts Brian provided
...to Wayne, who is going to do the
...rebore, chamber, and fit the barrel to Dinny's receiver.
I would suggest that Wayne gets his money
....and Dinny gets the finished product.
I would also suggest that Tim get a total from Wayne
...and divide by 50 or 60 so lots of us can participate.
If there is any shortfall, I'm sure that one or two of us can make it up.

I love the idea of lending a hand to Dinny. KUDOs to jeepman for thinking an for recomending it!

But various members sending $$ seems a bit impersonal and if he is the proud person, I am sure he is he will not want a hand out. Offered as a gift from GBO members might be more heart felt.

I do not know if its a possible thing, but if one of us could take the collection and send the $$ to the gunsmith OR a lump sum gift from GBO members to him in this amount to cover costs associated. Extra $$ could be spent on a order for reloading components and that shipped to him directly.

Personially, I would be happy with any one of the posters here who have expressed interest in this.
If I may, I think Tim is a natural ambassator for us as GBO members, if he is willing, I would like to nominate him to the task.

Just my ramblings, I am "in" no matter what we decide.  ;)

My family are the ones sacrificing so much. My daughter just turned 3 years old and doesn't quite understand why I can't come home to see her when she misses me. :'( Needless to say, it hasn't been easy for my wife with the young kids, but she's doing a great job though. She's a strong woman!
