Walked into the Mobile County Sheriff's Office today. Walked out with my concealed carry pistol permit.
So glad I moved from Illinois!

My daughter moved to Joliet.  Definitely a consideration as I decide where the guns go when I die.  I don't want to create any problems for her.  I guess my son will get them all!  LOL

Told ya them Alabama sherriff's ain't looking to turn down folk's permit request. They love that over the budget income it generates too much. Iffen the feds don't prevent you from buying and owning guns you're not likely to get turned down for a Bama CCW.

GANDOG.  Congratulations Sir on your permit and getting away from commie ILL. Below is a link, it's also in my sig line, to gov quinn to make suggestions. A dear friend of mine is a sheriff in ILL. He will retire in just over a year and said he will NOT stay in the state after he retires. He firmly is pro gun. POWDERMAN.  :o :o
