What loads Max out Contender in 444Marlin ?

What I am looking for is, what is the Max loads one should use in a Contender chambered in 444 Marlin. Should it be same pressures as the Marlin rifles? Will the frame handle factory loads OK?

Some folks say yes, some folks say no.  I recommend that you stay on the conservative side, work with the slower powders and you should stay out of trouble.  You'll probably hear from all the "experts", but I've banged out quite a few factory loads and factory level reloads on my contender and the only thing worse for the wear was my hands and nerves.  
  Rumors are that at one website who shall not be named here...that he has fired several thousand rounds of full house 444s with no damage or stretching to the frame.

I have fired many factory 265 Rem, 240, and 300 HEAVY max loads as listed in Sierra in my newish Contender and have no problems.  My barrel was a 10" 44 mag reamed by SSK way back in 1993. I say shoot it and have fun. :D  BTW--factory Remington 265's from a 10" unbraked TC is a real handfull.  :shock:  :eek:  :shock:  8)

I don't think T/C would make a gun in a factory caliber that they knew would eventually damage the gun/shooter.  Stick to factory ammo or equivalent and you should have no problem....other than flinching :P   I got a nice buck with mine 2 yrs ago. Rem factory 240 gr.  @ about 60 yds. Blew front forearm bone apart (the deer's), went thru chest,  and found bullet perfectly mushroomed just under skin on opposite side. Deer ran about 30 yards and dropped.

compressed loads of bullseye would definitely be trouble
