How about going back to when the framers of our constitution, had it set up to only property owners could vote. If you paid property tax's, you voted. The way it's changed, the people that can vote themselves money/food/housing, are going to vote for whoever promise's them the most. The system will collapse, it cannot sustain itself. gypsyman

I'm with nw_hunter.  Not only should we be proud to show an id to vote, we ought to have to demonstrate a minimal amount of intelligence.  I think lots of American citizens are too stupid to vote.  They should have to correctly answer a few very basic questions.  Such as:
Do you have a job?.
Do you want a job?
What is the Constitution?

Just those three would suffice to take out the democrats voting block. Probably just asking what is the Constitution, would take out a majority of them.

I'm with nw_hunter.  Not only should we be proud to show an id to vote, we ought to have to demonstrate a minimal amount of intelligence.  I think lots of American citizens are too stupid to vote.  They should have to correctly answer a few very basic questions.  Such as:
Do you have a job?.
Should you have a job?
Do you want a job?
What is your mother's maiden name?
What is the Constitution?
What is our eldest child's date of birth?
etc. 
A vote by an idiot is a blot on the entire system.  It not only is useless, it tallies against America's values.  Providing identification should be the very minimum of requirements to place a vote. 
In the end, I don't think it matters.  Extremely stupid people don't turn out at the polls.  They don't care.  As long as they get something free, it matters not who is in power.  Even if they didn't get the free stuff, they don't have the mental capacity to know why they didn't get it.
Going further, I don't think it matters how intelligent people vote.  The nation is headed for a very sorrowful end.  Republicans can't fix it at this point.  I feel sorry for the younger folks (who are mostly liberal).  They will reap the future horror of their current beliefs.   

So Mike, what you're saying is that 90% of Dumycrats shouldn't be allowed to vote.  That works for me.

   What is the big deal?  There's no "gotcha" there!  The man said if they get "voter ID"..Romney stands a better chance of winning Pennsylvania..  No surprise there, Pennsylvania is a very close state, and if the illegal voters are rooted out, Romney stands a better chance.
  Obviously if only qualified voters vote, the election will be more HONEST; thus favoring Romney..  well, DUH! BIG DEAL..
 
    BTW:  All 4 points mentioned in that one sentence by Mike Turzai....
1)  Pro second amendment
2) Castle doctrine
3) Pro Life
4) Honest elections
     ....are all good, solid, conservative values with which most of us agree.. The Kimber is shooting blanks..
