   One thing you don’t think much about when weighing your voting options are strip clubs.  But even though you don’t think much about the clubs, that doesn’t mean your local representative isn’t ready to drop a dollar bill down in some random woman’s g-string. 
Outside the Beltway is reporting that strip clubs down in Tampa, Florida are getting ready for the Republican convention by making sure that the ladies are fit and the pasties are snug so they can collect a big chunk of your tax dollars.  One club even has a stripper who looks just like Sarah Palin.
“Not only can you see the dancers on the stage and in the dressing room, you can also talk to them in an online chat room,” said Don Kleinhans, owner of the 2001 Odyssey club in Florida.

The big thing in town is the Republican convention but you can count on a lot of folks from both sides of the fence visiting the clubs. The convention is just an excuse for some of them to get out of town away from mama and the kids and kick up their heels for a while.

Amusing.  To the degree that story has any factual  basis at all it suggests (1) Dems know lots of innerlecshul libbrul women who are ready to strip for free on a moments notice if they can get anyone to watch and (2) Dems are well known to be poor tippers.  In fact, many Dem  politicians don't even pay for restruant meals, they feel so entitled they just walk out without paying, much less tipping the waitresses but few Repubs would, or would dare to, do that.

Well republicans are still for all of those things, but the homosexuals definately trend donkey these days...  Because they don't like the fact that conservatives bring up the fact that God does not approve of their gayness.... Oh, and that we won't let them marry, one in the same imo...

Would strippers be giving it up for less for a known Democratic constituant? A little charity? But for the Grace of God go I?

Which came first? Personal wealth or party membership? How is it that successful business people gravitate towards the Republican party. Is it greed?  Is it in fact IQ? 
 
So we find that Republicans are not the tight assed, straight laced, sour pussed, tea totalers they are portrayed as. And that makes them worse? The labels have been attached by the Democrats, therefore not hyprocacy on the part of those Republicans who avail themselves to a strip club. Better a strip club with consenting adults, than a teenage boy at a rest area along some Northern Minnesota interstate.

I don't know what Kimber is thinking, but I think the NYTimes article is for women readers, and is impuning GOPers as a group intrinsicly have a lower regard of modern independent American women... and treat more as 'objects'. In a sense, there's really not much difference between having your women covered up in a chadoor, or dancing naked around a pole--its still control and discounting of women.  This is in connection to the recent  GOPer who said women should buck up when raped and just have the child, and other anti- 'choice' issues; as well as last year's bruhahah about vaginas this and that. Also, that GOPers think of politcs more as beauty contest given their humor about DNC beauty......(some that is justified humor, however.. )

My wife doesn't believe their hyperbole. SCOTUS has settled the abortion debate, like it or not, there isn't a damned thing to be done about it. Get over it, move forward GOP, radical right, bible belters, it's done, period. You simply give the Democrats another straw to throw on the camels back. If you quit making ammo for that old gun they will quit shooting it at you.

   Think back through this year..who has puked up the abortion debate in politics?  It hasn't been the Republicans..it has been the DNC.  The  Reps didn't even start the debate concerning "free birth control" crap..the DNC did with that Fluk woman.. nobody even mentioned it before that day.
  The reason of course why they did that, is because they have no positive record to run on.  The economy is a disaster, foreign policy is a disaster, the president  P----d away nearly $1,000,000,000,000 and has nothing, nada, zero..ZILCH..to show for it.
 Our grandchildren will be repaying that!
  So, what else can the Dems do but to stir up hatred & division..... poor vs rich, women vs men, black vs white, athiests vs Christians, perverse vs normal, drug users vs clean, emotional vs the logical, youth vs the mature, anarchists vs the orderly..on and on...... ad nauseum.
   While neither party is really good, the crux of the situation is, while the Reps have some principles..the Dems, like Marxists the world over..have none at all.  When one has certain values which they will not discard with the morning's shaving water..it is easy to pick a fight with them.
  Thus the Dems, not being able to convince the logical voters with their record, will set their sights upon the illogical, emotional voters and their gripes. Thus, their primary constituency is composed of a polyglot mixture of shallow thinkers carrying much emotional baggage.     ...But sadly, they can, and do... vote..
