Guess Lady Graybeard ain't comin' out less someone else is buyin' for a change. Been missin' her 'round here. Well now, here goes. Drinks are on ole Hamp til the blue light stops flashing ('cept for williamlayton - he only gets one, cause he gets mean with more than that).

If I told you once, I told you a hunnert times that old williamlayton caint get nothing straight. There's no $50 reward posted for me. What it was, that bunch of Houston's finest along with some Harris County Sheriff's Deputies and a Constable or two took up a collection amongst themselves and GAVE me $50 if I would promise never to drive through their jurisdiction again. Man, I couldn't pass up a deal like that, since I didn't much care for all that traffic and smog nohow. Did have a flat tire goin through a residential area, and while gettin' the spare put on, saw this real old lookin' feller workin' on a shed out behind his house. Was smokin' a cigarette and seemed to be tryin' to get the thing level, or some such thing. Didn't envy him any, since the shed looked to be about a foot lower on one corner than on the other three. Been me, I think I'd have just jacked up the low corner. He was out ther lowering the three high corners. Must be the way they do things in that part of the state. And that's the way it really was.

That was a good idea bout jackin it up-wish you woulda stopped jackin up your hoopie an advised me. been noiticin, seein how you is a REAL regular, what is puzzlin is all my post is not much compared to you other boys, minds mostly jest talkin. I think I should be jest a regular an you boys aughtta be tha REAL regulars.
