7-30 Waters conversion
« on: February 08, 2004, 01:50:04 AM »
I am thinking of converting a Marlin 336 to 7-30 Waters. Has anyone tried it? Do you have a gunsmith you would recomend? I was going to go with a 24 or 25 inch barrel and short mag. tube. I want quick release rings, Tally?, and a tang sight. How accurate might it be? Any feedback on this conversion would be appreciated. Shotgunner

SSK Industries.

You might also want to ask about the 7JDJ #2. It will give you the same velocity or a bit more with 140s the 7-30 will with 120s. Nice round. I like both.
