Chris Matthews: Wanting Poor People to Have Jobs is Racist 8/28/12

Chris Matthews readily attributes "work requirements", "food stamps", and "welfare" to race. Making that association so instinctively as he does is racist. Yes! I said it.
When I think about those issues, I think about:

our debt
our bloated government
our out of control spending
taxes being too high
our weak economy

I feel especially sensitive to the issues of race being a minority in America but I don't see any solutions coming from Liberalism. The solutions to our problem come from liberty and freedom. Lowering taxes and regulations so that greedy capitalists will invest in the inner-city to help blacks and Hispanics prosper with good paying jobs is the solution. What is wrong with wanting that? Sounds like a better solution than subsidizing poverty with free government handouts, doesn't it?

Indeed expecting people to work to eat is racist. I would rather work an extra 10 or 15 years so someone can sit on their butts and not do anything but complain about the conservatives wanting them to work.

Chris Matthews viewpoint became meaningless to me when he professed his leg to be "tingling" 4 years ago. I think the tingling is between his ears. On another note, the more people who can become ensnared by government givaways, the less chance of our country ever recovering from the damage done by the fools. The best example I can think of, is the guys I work with whos hours got cut back a few years ago. Where I cut back on expenses and sold some stuff here and there, they went to wherever you go and GOT PUT ON FOOD STAMPS. Now 2-3 years later, they don't know what they'd do without their 250-400 in free food every month. These are people who have 2 incomes in their household. The government signed them right up. They know not to speak the words "EBT Card" around me. Pisses me off thinking about it now. J

All of liberalism is for the stupid. It sounds good at first but when you think it out it would never work.
So to help the innercity they destroyed the Black family, they created not only white flight but Black flight as well.
They have been promissing the black voters 40 acers and a mule since the 1860's and have never followed through. 100 years later they agrued against the civil rights acts. It was Republicans that voted across the board for it.
The constant call for higher taxes have only hurt the elderly who are on not fixed incomes but diminishing incomes with price increases across the board.
The Democrats have stolen 700 Billion from Medicare and with a raise in prices they are forcing the Elderly to choose between medicine and food. So to have her medicine the Democrats are forcing Grandma to eat cat and dog food.

Blacks are only 13% of the total population. So, that means more whites are on welfare and food stamps than blacks since about 30 million Americans are on food stamps now. Hispanics are about 15-16% of the population, but most of them already work. Blacks have a more powerful voice in government than their percentage of population shows, and their main leaders are always saying racist this and racist that, so even liberal whites think that way. You don't hear much about the poor whites in Appalachia or where old cotton mills have closed and they are out of work. They get help when they can and try to get by without complaining and most try to get back to work doing something.
