If you have any old Winchester powder pamphlets it's listed in there and also in the Lyman shotshell manuals that all shotshell loaders should own.

It was a powder for light loads in 12 ga. I don't recall ever using it otherwise and can't say that I recall data for other uses. It worked extremely well for 1-1/8 and one ounce loads at 1150-1200 fps. It was the powder Winchester used in their AA target 12 ga. loads back then. Might still be.

I don't have any old Win Pamphlets, and My local shooting supply places didn't have a Lyman book, on Saturday when I went shopping. I't has been on my list to get.

If you shop on line there are some here.

I wouldn't call the price to bad either.
Might just try bookfinder.com   for a used copy too.

I went to Cabela's today and found Lyman's 5th Edition. There are no recipes for 452AA. The only reference I could find was the powder burn rate chart. What edition do I need to find?

3rd or 4th. I'll try to remember to check tomorrow to be sure.

What shot load, hull, wad and velocity are you looking for? I can't scan the data but might be able to take a photo of it and e-mail it to you.

If you'll send me a PM about it that will help my old brain to remember.

Shot load is 1oz, Hull is AA, I have both 1 and 2 piece hulls, Wad is WAA12SL. I'm not to concerned about velocity, lite target loads are what I'm looking for. I'm planing to use the loads for Sporting Clays, and will run them thru a Browning 425.

Cuteric,
My Lyman manual is the 4th edition, copyright 1995, and 452AA is not listed.

WW452?  Was great powder!  Very clean shooting, easy to reload;

easy to make 7/8, 1 oz, or 1 1/8oz loads in a twelver.  Was real disappointed and sorry when discontinued.

Look in either a Lyman 2nd or 3rd edition shotshell manual (1970's era).  It was used in quantities similar to RedDot, but don't just take my word for it!  Look it up!  ;D

Was at a gun show to day and found a copy of Reloading for shot gunners. It has recipes for Win components. Also Graybeard sent me information also. I've got what I need.
Thanks Everyone!
