Does anyone know if the stocks on the new 336xml can be put on an older (1964) 336? Thanks

Might need to do some fitting, the fore stock on the XLR uses a nose cap, not the barrel band, that you need to consider if yours is a model using the band.  DP

Mine actually does use the nose cap. It is a Sears model 45 in 35 Remington.  The original stock got very dried out, been using furniture oil on it to bring it back, but I really like the laminate stocks.
