Haven't been back to this forum in years but i know my Uncle Mike, Eye Shot on here, was an avid member.

On June 4th he was life flighted to the University of Michigan for emergency treatment for a failing heart. He fought hard for a month and a half, through 2 surgeries, but it just wasn't enough. On July 14th, around 2am, with all of us at his side, he went peacefully to be with god.

He is the sole reason i'm so actively involved in hunting, fishing, and competitive shooting. He is greatly missed.

I'm truely sorry to hear that , I spent some time with him just this spring at out Ohio shoot down in Shelby county , he was a true asset to these forums and I was proud to call him my FRIEND !  :( :'( :( :'( :( :'(
 
I was looking forward to seeing him next week at at the Delphos shoot , He was all right for a crane operator .  8)

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your uncle.  I met Mike at a couple of gun shows and at the spring GBO shoot.  He was a good man and will be missed.

  I also met your uncle and liked him alot.  He had many of the same hobbies as most of us on this forum and was great to talk to about hunting, handloading and building the ultimate Ohio deer gun.
