Well it is confirmed once again dat de B'ars in Sou' Jawja is eatin sum corn....... Been at the lease past three weeks gettin ready for stick and string hunting...... Four mo' feeders torn down and de lids chewed through
...... cameras got pix of a couple of differnt Blackies 'bout 200-250 lbs each, usually roaming at night.
But den we gots pix of de one we calls "Wrecking Crew" - dis bad boy goes 400+ and he been coming out to de feeders in broad daylight.
We put de feeder up on 1 1/2" steel pipe legs 10feet up in de air...... ol' Wrecking Crew couldn't swat it wit his paw so he jes started pushin his weight on one of de steel legs until it bent and buckled!!!
Down come 200 lb corn and Wrecking Crew had a feast.
Gonna hafta make use of dem B'ar Days down here dis year.
