Huge herds this year! Or flocks?
« on: September 05, 2012, 02:23:13 PM »
Just to let ya'll know, the skeeters, chiggers, and ticks are in abundant supply here in west Ga.  If you're short where you are, just come on over.

I sprayed down head to toe with 100% deet, still got it bad.

Where did you get the 100% deet?  I haven't seen that stuff for decades.  I used Muskol that was a liquid that was 100% deet.

That stuff worked!!!

Last Saturday, I got a tick while standing on a gravel road.
Mosquitoes are out but they leave me alone; they give my wife more attention than I do.
The difference between people who do stuff and people who don't do stuff is that the people who do stuff do stuff.

Thinking of going to Ga in november to visit family in the lagrange area. Will they be gone by then? Need to find all the requirements but might be interested in doing a bit of deer hunting. I'll be good until I start seeing snakes.

If we get some cold weather and good frosts by then, the chiggers will diminish...the ticks are permanent residents.  Some years it's really cold in Nov., some years not.
