This post is about a month old not since last of 2012, I read because was
just looking at the gunsite ruger for defense hog - son will do
the first shot with a 223 probably new winchester hog ammo
(son is a little on light side, is less recoil for him)
and I'll be there with something with no scope,
primarily for close range/like hog defense.
But I read this whole post, and thought would let you see article I read on farmer eaten
by his hogs- he was old tho and who knows maybe something health wise happen &
he was frail and the hogs probably used to him bringing food,
so hungry hungry when saw him just there, but still, here is:
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2012/10/02/authorities-believe-oregon-farmer-eaten-by-his-hogs/If you google words: farmer oregon eaten hogs
can see more articles, too.
I know hunting have guns, he had none, just himself old & frail,
but thought you all good to know this can happen.
