I myself and tired of liberals throwing up that when we conservative Christians call a spade a spade.  We are considered to be "judging".  Jesus said, "by their fruits you shall know them".  He also made a whip and drove the money changers out of the temple.  He exibited humility when He "GAVE HIMSELF" to be sacrifice for our sin.  He also showed the diciples how to witness to sinners.  He also said not to have anything to do with the "unfruitful works of darkness.  Many would think that is a contradiction.  Not so.  You may have to associate with sinners at work, or in business.  Therein lies your witness to them.  Mercy, reframing from participating in some sinful practice, etc.  However, doesn't mean I have to go over to their homes and "fellowship" with them or have them over to my house.  I was saved in a Baptist chruch, but later went to a Charismatic then to an Assembly of God.  So I know these people, they are definately conservative and vote as such.  Many churches have given up THEIR ability to minister charity to the poor and downtrodden.  They have given this up to the state, such as Catholics.  We conservatives choose to try to teach these people to fish, not just continuously give them a fish.

good post.. when liberals accuse Christians of "judging", that means they are ignorant of Gods plan.
they have no other argument.

uYaaawwwwwwnn..... well.. it's a bummer when you can't just freely badmouth people and say unkind and un-Christian things, without someone calling you out on it. I recommend you take it to God in prayer. And ponder that Golden Rule a bit... (not the one about him who has it...)
Jesus said we should treat other as we'd want to be treated... and he didn't qualify that by their party affiliation, race, or even if they're of diff religion.

Nwhunter, down south, it is the exact reverse.  Most Baptist, Methodists, Charismatic or Pentecostals down here vote Republican.  Liberals are in the Episcopal and Catholic churches.  A lot of the hardliners don't vote at all.

Yet, in some of the more amalgamated cities of the South, we gotta lot of Baptists that vote Democrat.     I am certain I do not need to mention the cultural basis for that trend.

After the Civil War the south NEVER voted for a Republican.  It was further solidified by FDR because of his dam building and rural electrification of the south during the depression.  Kennedy and Johnson began to change that, and later when Reagan won with the "boll weavel" southern democrats.  Some conservative southern Democrats then turned to the Republicans.  Later when Clinton snubbed the southern conservative Democrats in favor of the liberal east and west coast Dems, there were conversons to Republicans in mass.  The Dems became further liberal.  The Republicans became more moderate.

A good assessment..both are too liberal but the Reps haven't sunk quite as far as the Dems..who have "scraped the bottom of the barrel", trying to put together a voting base..
