I too would like to see and hear results with the Ruger Mk III Hunter, was looking at one today.  Have narrowed it down to that or the S&W, can't remember the model #.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

I've shot my buddies, but never hunted with it.  I know I can decimate golf balls up to 15 yards away and have hit clay pigeons consistently on the berm at 30 yards.  I love his and have been considering one myself.  I am torn between the Smith 22A, Ruger Hunter MKIII and Browning Buckmark, but after some reviews here have been looking at a couple of the M1911 .22 lr style also.  Some are rated just as accurate and are a bit less expensive.  I think the Ruger is sweet, but really like the Smith 22A in the camo pattern.  Choices, choices!  8(

No brainer ruger mark series.
Friends may enter, others not, friends will be fed and others shot.
