Model 69 with factory scope
« on: September 09, 2012, 05:42:56 PM »
Recently picked up this Model 69 and wondering if anybody might know someone who could work on the scope? It is a 2.75 fixed power, factory bases and mounts, and though it is serviceable and shows potential for accuracy it is not as clear as I'd like.

I know, I know,  ::) it is 2.75x power, 3/4" tube, 80-ish years old... nonetheless, if there is some way to make it more clear and bright inside, I'd appreciate finding out who could do it.  ;D Thanks.

tallyho,

I've never had dealings with either of these but you might want to check out Parsons and/or Quality Scope Repairs.
QSR says they deal only with external adjustment scopes:
<http://qualityscoper....com/index.html>
"Quality Scope Repair will only be accepting Unertl, Fecker, Lyman, Litschert, Winchester and other externally adjusting scopes. "

Parsons has been around for a long time:
Parsons Scope Service
Attn Richard Parsons
1563 Compton Road
Cincinnati OH 45231-3433

Good luck,
