The only thing I am making light of is where this thread is going, i.e. nowhere. You all will go around and around but no ones stance will be changed so why bother?

Conan;

   Your son's plans may upset you, but you should be both pleased and proud that he obviously wants to do things the right way;

A) Find somebody he truly loves

B) Waits until marriage for the "desert".

C) Support, cherish and care for his "beloved"

D) we can almost assume by this, he is already leading a clean life..not a drug addict or drunk.

E) Indications are he will be a good Dad when that takes place

F) He acknowleges God and wants to follow God's plan.

You know before I say it..you can thank God that you have a son who wants to "do it right".  In today's world that is great news.

By most accounts..their style of family planning is "small potatoes'..

A fetus is not a human until it takes the breath of life.  Nothing you can say will make that false.

Not true. I reckon you forgot that God told Jeremiah, I knew ye before I formed thee in the womb.

Moot point.....that scripture has nothing to do with this issue.  He knew all of the elect before the foundation of the world and they cannot be aborted.

Since you claim Christian connections..I do hope you are not making light of this holocaust which has taken 60,000,000 American lives alone.

Some try to deny that these are human babies being murdered..

What do those pictures look like below... a woodchuck or perhaps a Toyota?

They don't look like human beings because they are not.  I personally oppose some abortions, but not because I believe it's a moral issue.  The Bible doesn't address it.  It's like gambling you can't make a case against it Biblically.

Yeah, but you can make a pretty good case against running around killing people. Pull a five month fetus out of a woman's uterus, then, after you have stopped vomiting and freaking out, tell me tha it wasn't human. It was human. What is this denial of the obvious in favor of mind fogging ideology? It's insanity and horror.

Nope it's not a human until it breathes the breath of life.  Then it has a soul.

Doesn't matter if someone is "elect" or not.  Human is human and murder is murder.  I was the product of a date rape.  Just recently found that out from my 80 year old mother.  I recieved Christ as savior at a Billy Graham crusade in Birmingham on May 19,1972.  So, abortion was illegal back then.  85% of babies can live outside the womb at 5 months if taken before term.  That is why the push to at least stop late term abortions.

Now, I am against abortion, but not birth control, except maybe the IUD or loop, because it keeps a fertilised egg from attaching to the uterian wall.  Others just keep the mother from passing an egg or use condoms.  If a woman is on an even cycle, the rythem method can work.

I agree.....and if the boy is old enough and mature enough to get married, the last thing he needs is his mommy and daddy telling him that his birth control methods and family planning are wrong. If mommy and daddy think the boy is intelligent enough to marry someone and to support a wife on their own, they need to step back and let them live their own lives. More marriages have been ruined by mommy and daddy than by too many kids.

In the final analysis ,at least mine, the Church doesn't pay for feeding, housing and clothing my offspring. Therefore it isn't their business how many I got and how I control the "gettin" of 'em.

Uh??
The  "final analysis" is when you are standing before the Lord.
BTW- Take a gander at Matt.25:37-40 for an idea about feeding ,clothing and all around helping others.

That may well beyour analysis..  Of course various churches often do feed, clothe and run adoption services for children.
No matter though, what you said in your final analysis is not really the last word..because you are NOT the final analyzer, concerning these matters. ;)   :D

Then you have never been involved in a local, new Testament, spirit-controlled church..fully invested in the ecclesia.

Evidently you have been taken in by a legalist church, that's not the way the our Lord would have it:

..And curiously, a local independent church will give you a much longer "trial period"  than any gun, car, TV , couch, chair or computer.  You can usually attend for months and not be asked to "join"..they may never ask you to join.  Even if you do join..you can walk off at any time..and cut any strings.  That's not "yoked'.
We had a church leadership meeting just last night before I taught Bible study.  The mmeeting included all leadership and their soouses..planning directions for the next year and on out..with our newly hired pastor.  In that meeting we each made a checklist as towhat we like about our church and what needs improving..  One very obvious point was our "church family"...much like an extension of our own, personal families.  We all valued that very greatly.
Our church is completely open and Bible directed..the financial books are right there on a table in the rear..open to all members.
I don't  know about Swampy, bur my experience proves as God said, " My yoke is easy, my burden is light"

Excuse me, WHAT !! :o :o
So I'm going to keep multiplying to the point that I have to depend on various churches to feed, clothe and possibly find replacement caretakers for MY kids.  That would be a monsoon day in Death Valley. !!

I did say it was MY final analysis and I should have  added my Wife's decision which would be the last word on that subject. As far as you are implying there is another final analyzer, it is  pure speculation on your part and has nothing to do with my part in population control of those I could/would be responsible for.
