Horton Fury on the way

I haven't crossbow hunted in a few years, so I did a little research and whittled it down to ten point and Horton.  Once I held and shot the fury, it was a no brainier.  The balance was fantastic, the power phenomenal.  Definitely a killing machine.


Is anyone shooting the fury?  If so, what broadheads are you using?  I'm a little concerned my muzzys won't fly well at the velocity this bow produces.

i have one, along with many other brands.... tha fury isa kill'n machine. i hope you get one that has tha bugs worked out !!! i had to send mine back for replacement.  make shur where ever you are getting it,
it has not been in inventory past the last 60 days.  if it has been longer, you might have some adf/safety problems.
if so, try your dealer for a replacement first.  but keep in mind, horton will make it good for you

My Vision had to be sent back for similar problem, they turned it around fast and replaced more than they had to. Great service. I sure do like it.Shooting 100gr. thunderheads,indexed.

Well, I have owned the bow one week and it is still in pieces.  The cable guard was cracked when I received it last Friday and horton was closed for the weekend.  No local shops stock Horton parts, so I put it up and called Horton Monday morning.  After waiting 25 minutes to actually get through to a human being in customer service, they agreed to ship me a replacement cable guard.  As of today, nothing from Horton.  Horton is only a couple of hours from me so regardless of how they ship it, it should arrive relatively quickly.  I called Horton this afternoon and waited another 10 minutes on hold when the recording advised there were 8 calls ahead of me.  I couldn't wait on the line that long.  To recall, I've had a lengthy wait every time I've ever placed a call to horton.  I am not particularly happy on several fronts at this point.  This is my experience, your mileage may vary.

The anti dryfire device doesn't work properly, but the bow shoots flat, powerful, and accurate.  It is too bad Horton is using the consumer to test and evaluate this bow. Once I install the new AD device, it'll be 100%.
