Flag burning question

Lots of pictures in the news showing American flags being burned. What are they dousing them with?  Aviation fuel? The fires are huge, and don't look like a normal fabric or nylon fire.

Alot of the flag burnings you see are staged events by the media. They soak them in gas sometimes to get them going easily
