CCW starters

     My bride, daughter, daughter-in-law all 3 of them coming out of the closet and are going to get their CCW licenses, all 3 will be here at the house in the AM to do some practicing, in the event I am no longer on this site you will know who to blame, wish  me and my ammo stash good luck, they all carry from time to time but now want to be LEGAl so I will assist as best I can.   Jim

Your ammo stash may be in for a ding, but it can be replenished.  Skills taught and honed are never fully lost.  Good trade IMO

 Get a progressive reloading press and you will never worry about ammunition stash being depleted.

     Well the bride has decided she dont want the 3 in. model 36, or the snub, she swore off the kel-tec Pf9, and has fallen in love with my old S&W model 6906 9mm, she can out shoot all of us with it, and we have decided that is what she is going to use to qualify with, my daughter has picked a old S&W mofrl 39 to qualify with, no sigs, colts,glocks, etc, etc. the die is cast they are both in love again, the daughter-in-law didnt make it as they are finishing up a new home they are building a few things came ua as usually does when building a new house, but it will be another week-end of them gathered around the safe and ammo stash.  Jim

In my opinion the best thing was letting them pick what they want to carry.  It looks like they had a great selection to pick from.

     They go this coming wed. night for the class part, and then possibly sat. for the range part both are excited, my bride asked me to open the safe so she could (play) with the 6906 the other day she wants to be sure abt. the safety and charging the weapon, the only other thing that has made her so excited has been her cook books but I am not complaining abt. that.  Jim

     Both my daughter and my bride PASSED the shooting phase of the CCW class yesterday and my bride outshot the whole class, I am proud of both of them, Wed. we will go to Little Rock State Police Office to be fingerprinted and for them to start their FBI background checks ( I hope I dont find out that many yrs. ago I married a FELON! )  Jim

     William I semi-retired last dec. from the pawn shop, turned it over to my buddy but stop by on occasion to check on things and while we were there last week she found a Kel-tec 3At 380 she liked and it came home also, I am runnings out of storage room here at the farm, and again all she askes it whats it WORTH not what did it cost, maybe she has plans for me in the future.  Jim

     This past Sunday my bride and I went to the gunshow, now those who know me personally know after owning a gunshop, being a investor in another one, and being involved with a pawn shop for know I have several guns to choose from, more than I would ever post on the net. but of ALL the guns in the safes my bride fell in love with a colt Mustang Pocketlite 380 stainless at the show it was a battle of it or a Sig Sauer 238 she chose the Colt, so now we have another haandgun to feed, I have some small targets I made with a circle made with a skool can, the first 5 shots at 7 yds, 3 in the bull the other 2 just outside the bull, she is vary happy and my Left front pocket is a little lighter     Jim
