8x57 150 Horn Sptz. loads

Anybody have any 150 Hornady Sptz. favorite book loads/velocity? Thanks Muddy

Couple months late.

I loaded some 150gr Hornady's with 48gr H4895. Chrony reading was 2767fps avg w/ three shot group going a little over an inch. It was a "dump" load.  This was shot out of a M700 Classic, 24" tube, Scope and factory trigger. I dont have any use for the 150's. I prefer the 175 Sierras or 170 RN's for the light bullet load.



Hodgden shows 51gr is max.

Hi,type Hodgon or hodgon Powder in your browser and you will find a ton of reloading data.

I have to agree with Paul358.  I wouldn't use the 150s in a 323 bore unless I was hunting varmit.  I consider that bullet too stubby for anything bigger than woodchucks and the like.  My favorite bullet weight in the 8mm is 195-200, and they have never failed me.
