Camp 9 trigger questions

I stripped my Camp 9 to clean it and did not take apart the trigger group.During re-assembly, I found that the trigger group wasn't working right. I put a magazine in, and it still didn't work right: when pushing the hammer back, it wasn't engaged by the trigger. The trigger will only moves a couple millimeters, as though something is not right. As I poked around, the main spring and guide came out.Obviously, I'd like to know what's going on and how to fix it. In addition, the trigger pull is too heavy and I would like to reduce it, but I've seen mention that reducing the main spring is not a good idea.Any info will be appreciated. Thanks

I will include a link to a parts blow up which should give you an idea of where the parts you mentioned should be.

This appears to be a simple action and should be ok with a bit of care. Beware of releasing the sideplates.. While I've not worked on a camp carbine but releasing those sideplates carelessly will generate a parts explosion!
