O what a week
« on: September 23, 2012, 07:18:34 AM »
The week from HExx , it all started monday morning when my boss called and said he was sick and would not be in ALL week , thus I had his job dumped into my lap = YUCK , then tues. morning the project Eng. desides to make major changes to the job and not move back the completion date , Dbl YUCK .

By the trip home wed. the tranny on my truck starts to not shift properly and I have to drive the 40 miles home in 2nd gear , that will suck some gas  :'( :'( :'( ! turs morning 1/2 of the crew calls in sick ,  :)  what else can go wrong ?

Fast forward to sat , the sewer line from the house to the street gets plugged an hour after all the rental places that have a rooter long enough to do the job are closed , so we're using the spare bathroom at the neibors house till I can swing by the rental place on the way home from work tomorrow .

Does it ever just rain in your place or is it a monsoon/nothing situation?

Stimpy, Looks to me like there is 2 old sayings that explain it real well. 1. You are the luckiest guy I know. and 2. If it wasn`t for bad luck you wouldn`t have any luck at all. Bike you are rigy, I thought about it Sunday.  ::)   :'(  That`s what happens when you get old. :(

I just hate when a 1 day renting an eel turns into a week of renting a backhoe and replacing 150' of 4" sewer line .

The next project is to cut down the two Maple trees in the front yard , that should keep those damn roots out of the new line !  ;) ;D ;) ;D
