how the heck do you discharge a revolver while unloading it? They should have arrested him, and left her alone...

Q:  What's the quickest way to unload a .38 snubby?

A:  Pull the trigger five times as fast as you can.


And they take away the flight attendant's gun and permit...  give me a break.

Seems like one would have to work at it to have an accidental discharge of a DA revolver when securing it. No reason to have a finger in the trigger guard to unload it and I cannot see how else it would have fired. Oh well, it was said that a T-38 jet trainer could not be put into a spin and the test pilots could not get it to spin but a student pilot in the first training class managed to put one in a spin by accident so I guess anything is possible.
