There were 2 speeches. The U.S. stayed on Monday, but evidently walked out on Wednesday. So what was the big deal about what he said?
On the nuclear issue, when a country is suspected of building clandestine weaponry, that is the job of U.S. intelligence to determine what is happening. During WWII, intelligence was a massive undertaking for Britain to determine what the Nazi's were building. Do you think in today's world there is anything Iran is doing that U.S. intelligence doesn't know about? Are you kidding? They know everything.
So what is the newest reason for invading? It is not that Iran has WMD's, or that they are developing them, or even their intent. A bill was passed by the U.S. Congress that allows us to invade Iran if they simply have the ability to pursue nuclear weapons. Can you believe that?
Simply having the technological know how or capacity to build nuclear weapons justifies an invasion, according to the U.S. Congress. How silly can you get? It's one thing when you have a nut job running Israel. It's another thing when our elected officials behave like lap dogs for the biggest Middle East nut job.
Look at Israel. They don't comply with any regulatory monitoring. Simultaneously, they are demanding the U.S. invade other countries who simply have capacity to build something. That means Israel now wants countries like the U.S. to have the right to invade say Japan if it desires that island for some other purpose. Japan is "safe" because it "behaves."
Actually, not really. Nuclear wise, Japan has caused more radioactive contamination in the world than all the bombs that were dropped from all nations from nuclear testing! Likewise, Japan and the world are doing nothing effectively manage that crisis. We need to be acting on the Japan nuclear crisis and stop worrying about the Middle East.
