well.in all honesty, not a single person that i know, myself included, uses the swap barrel feature of the beeman. i've tuned 7 of these guns for myself my son and some friends. every one of them has been more consistant and easier to shoot with the 22 caliber barrel. on mine and my son's , i epoxied the 22 barrel in and locked it down. you may want to keep that in mind before you sell your 177, and just buy a dedicated 22 breakbarrel model from beeman. they are a bit more solidly built than the switch barrels. you can find some great deals at pyramyd air.
