The reason that folks like Madonna, whom by the way has proven that she is morally bankrupt, can raise such a dust up is that, people idolize them, and make them rich beyond belief. Her shows according to reviews are always of a promiscuous sexual nature, and this is how she makes her living. Just as this thread proves, folks talk about what she says, and what she does, when they should actually pretend that she isn't there.
This is the same reason I brought up Jane Fonda, and Ted Nugent. Jane Fonda is a Hollywood malcontent, that has never been hungry, because of what HENRY Fonda (a war veteran) accomplished, not what SHE herself did. Ted Nugent is a draft dodging guitar playing hippie, whom has changed his stripes, BUT NEVER APPOLIGIZED, and everyone here I suppose "except me", thinks he's great now, because he likes guns. He promotes himself as a great patriot, and folks here accept that image but, now he knows he's beyond fighting age, and there is no chance he would ever have to go to war. It's now, very easy for him to be patriotic thru his microphone, and it gets him attention.
No one here, or anyone else, serious about this country, should care what they have to say about ANYTHING. But for some reason we "collectively" do.
