I've been putting one together since the end of June. I've got the barrel, I've ground out the ejection port on my upper, but I don't have a bolt or any ammo or.brass yet. Finally have a box of.ammo on the way but I'm still needing a bolt. I
If.your.building your own, get a 6.5 Grendel bolt from Rguns.  Ammo can be scrounged if youre persistant  brass will come around eventually.  If you're ordering an assembled upper I hope you're patient.

I like mine. It will shoot the flat nosed raineer bullets into an inch at a 100 yards and the hps into about an inch and a quarter. Its very reliable once you get the mag thing staightened out. Its just a matter of either tweeking your existing mags a bit if they dont work. Most will work as is. Alexander arms sells mags allready tweeked and those have worked great. It hits pigs with the thunder of thor!! My wife even shot a 1500 lb asian water buffalo with it using Kelly Shleps solid brass punch bullets and it did a fine job. Only downside is components can be hard to find. Starline is now making brass but you have to catch them when they make a run. Same with raineer. They make there bullets in runs and youd better be paying atttention to get some. By the way those plated bullets they make do just fine on game. The hp expands but still stays together and the flat nose holds together just as well as a hard cast for penetration.

One more little hint. Alot of the loading data is with lilgun. Personaly id stay away from it in the beo. I did some testing and after 10 quick rounds you can about light a cigerette off the barrel. AA9 will get you about the same velocitys and burns much cooler and has actually given me better accuracy. I use wc820 which is about the same thing and have found that wc297 is even better in it if you can still find some.
