Updated today at 5:33 AM ASHLAND, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A teenager who was trying to burglarize a Mexican restaurant in eastern Kentucky - never actually made it into the building.
The would-be burglar tried to enter the El Rancho Grande restaurant in Ashland by going through the oven exhaust duct. This happened about 2 a.m. Wednesday.
The problem is he got stuck and wasn't found until workers came in about 9 a.m. for their shift.
After that it took firefighters about two hours to get him out. Firefighters say the burglar was thankful and respectful to the rescue crews who saved him.
So far, no charges have been filed.
