Well, in a little over an hour I turn 59. My son is taking me bow hunting in the morning and I can;t think of a better way to celebrate my birthday. :)

Promise, it won't hurt a bit.  Now 62 that hurts.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Fifty nine was the age I retired at; that was over ten years ago and I can say it just keeps getting better.  Today I'm going sea kayaking and will probably be doing about 20 miles.  Tomorrow my wife and I will be heading to the Oregon coast to celebrate our 47th anniversary.   I won't be running 10 miles on the beach like I used to, but I'm taking a bicycle along and I'll be putting a lot of miles on it.
