I find it interesting where you have two people rated "A" by the NRA and yet there are subtil differences;
While Ron Paul is very good in his standards, he surprises me that "on the issues" reports he voted;
NO on prohibiting gun "misuse" lawsuits against gun manufacturers
NO on prohibiting suits against dealers for gun "misuse".
NO on shortening gun purchase waiting periods from 3 days to 1.
http://www.ontheissues.org/ron_paul.htm Surprisingly, according to "on the issues", Ryan voted YES on these three issues;
YES, on prohibiting lawsuits for "misuse" against manufacturers
YES, on prohibiting "misuse" lawsuits against sellers.
YES, on shortening 3 day waiting to 1 day.
http://www.ontheissues.org/House/Paul_Ryan.htm/ I'm not saying one is better than the other, since both have an "A" rating...I am just wondering why excoriate one over the other?
...Especially when they both rate very well with the NRA..
