tc contender hard to unlock

what causes some contender barrels to be almost impossible to unlock? I have replace bolt with new one and still have same problem. Very frustrating. any suggestions.

May be a stupid responce but do you have an easyopen or an older hardopen frame?  As you may know some frames are harder to open because of the location of the pivot point of the trigger guard release lever.  If the pivot is above the trigger it should be much easier to open than if the pivot is at the front of the trigger guard.  Just some random thoughts.  It will make a big difference.

Has been discussed on this forum dozens of times over the years, every aspect.    A simple search of this forums archives would net you answers to your questions and then some.
