Greybeard, ol' pal, I been thinkin 'bout whacha said 'n' I think I figgered it out.
Ya see, us Cowboys, we'z a sociable lot. Whar ya get a couppla cowboys stop ta talk, next thang ya know, thar's a whole
crowd of cowhands hangin 'round, laughin, drinkin, fightin, tellin jokes, 'n' what-not. Cow-folk iz also creatures o' habbit. We like ta know whar ta find the rest of the crew.
Now when sommit happens - a fire in the bunhouse or whatever - and a crowd o' cowboys get scattered 'cross the plains, ya'll find that they all start out in a bunch of places but werd'll get 'round who's where 'n' they'll congrigatin somewhere else.
Bein creatures of habbit, when the bunkhouse gets rebuilt, the whole crowd'll jist drift back to the ol' place.
T'ain't got nuthin ta do with "this place" "that place" or "t'other place" bein better er worse - jist got ta do with bein sociable 'n' bein creaturews of habbit
A place haz gotta be purdy bad a'fore'n a bunch o' cowpokes pack up 'n' leave fer good - kin only rekkollect one place whar that ever happened
