Seemed to work for me on my J-frame.   Though I no longer use it opting instead to replace the stock birds head grips with a set of finger grooved boot grips.

If you have big fingers, they fill that area behind the trigger guard, protecting your middle finger.  They also add a little extra diameter at the thinnest part of the grip, improving feel.  I have used several on my snub's, and they work.  My only issue is they do not lengthen the grip, leaving my ring finger on the bottom edge, and my pinkie hanging free - A poor grip for recoil control when firing fast double action.  But that's more a problem with my particular hand size, and an issue on all J frames for me.

William I have used Tyler T-Grips for over 35 years on everything from N-frame Smiths to J-frame Smiths. They give you better control with small grips, and move your finger DOWN, and way from the back of the trigger guard. I have several in my safe. I never sell them with the gun.

Should note something about Tyler T's.  Awhile back the owner died, and the family tried to continue the business.  It resulted in cashed checks, and little to no delivery.  Soiled the companies name.  In the past year or so, the business was put under new management, and all back orders that could be were filled, with new products being delivered as promised.

 They do as they are supposed to without adding to the overall size of the revolver. I've a K frame T grip on my  RB J frame, most excellent!

 It's good to hear that they are back. At one time Pachmayr made them also, plastic with a spring clip that went under the grip panels. After a while the method of attaching the clip would loosen and...

 Yes,they do! Have a set on a SW36 and a Colt Official Police- A more solid hand filling grip, gets your finger out from behind the trigger guard,and lets ya' keep the origional wood grips-no extra bulk.

i'm using a tyler t grip with a barami hip grip on my S+W 640 j frame and am very happy with it
