bowtect assissan 2nd kill

a 6pt came within 16 steps from mt stand yesterday and turned broadside, i put the arrow behind the shoulder and he only ran about 50 yards.   65# pull 28'' draw lenght rage 2 blade broadheads.   love this set up

Congrats on your bow kills....
I have a Bowtech Guardian and shoot 28" with 2 blade Rages. Awesome bows.
I lost a doe last week by shooting too high, but before that I was two for two with a small buck and a large doe with this bow setup.
 I always used Thunderhead 100's for years and had great luck with them. I think all 12 of my previous bow kills were with the thunderheads and they almost always shot thru completely. But as always when something new catches your eye you just have to try it. It wasn't the rages fault that I lost that doe, it was just a badly placed shot.
