Officers Model Trapdoor gets a woody!
« on: October 10, 2012, 02:12:40 PM »
I saw an officers model in a book I have with an attached Pistol Grip. I ordered one from Dixie and here ya go!

I'm amazed at how perfectly it matched the finish of the rifle!

And it got a new front sight also:

I remember when they (O.M.) were new and I didnt buy one  :'( .........
So, have you made your own?
I picked up the pistol grip from Buffalo Arms some time back for my 1884 S.F. sporter but havent put it on yet. I dont like the screw it came with; any chance of a pic of your screw?
