Vice pres debate.
« on: October 11, 2012, 04:08:36 PM »
What a joke. The mod gives biden more time than Ryan, she interrupts needlessly, and allows biden to constantly interrupt. Biden tells one lie afer another. What a crock. POWDERMAN.  >:( >:(

Biden looked like polished excrement, fumbling, interrupting.  Ryan was polite, literate, effective.  Biden had his moments, though more notable were his interruptions of Ryan.  Ryan was more thought provoking, sincere, and believable.

The Dems have NOTHING on which to run except four years of FAILED policy, increased government, greater borrowing, and stolen dreams.  The Democratic impact on the American Economy over the last four year is a looming disaster and a threat to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

Also, what comes across is that the looming crisis happened on Biden watch and he has had a continuous part in creating this fiscal mess through his years of "Public Service", a misnomer for enrichment of the few to the detriment of the many.

Yep, Biden acting like a juvenile and the moderator aiding and abetting.  Ryan did pretty well, especially since it was pretty much two against one.

I agree pretty much with all that is stated but will admit that Vice President Biden did have his moments where he seemed in controll.
I feel Ryan held his own with him and did it in a much more pleasant way.
Other then the interuptions from the Vice President the time by each of them was almost the same.
40minutes plus a few seconds for Paul Ryan and a little over 41 minutes for Joe Biden.
The moderator could have done a better job of controlling the Vice President and did seem to interupt Ryan more then she did Biden.
All in all I think Ryan did OK, Biden did what he had to do even though some of the statements he made have already been proven wrong by the state dept.
The Vice President did do a much better job then THE LIAR IN THE WHITE HOUSE did last week.
I think it will be viewed pretty much a draw with Biden losing some points for his rudeness.

I could only stomach 20 minutes of it. Biden was a braying jackass per usual and I thought Ryan was flat and dull and looked uncomfortable.

I detest Biden, but felt he did well with his spin of "substance". I beleve the smirking will hurt him & if any votes are influenced by this (probably minimal), Biden will lose more votes with his demeaner than he could gain with a possibly perceived debate edge. So in votes maybe a few for Romney/Ryan.

It may be viewed as a tie, Romney group underestimated the old man. Sent Ryan in to battle with old hashed out economic policies and front page news that biden group knew would be coming and had answers for regardless a lie or not. When you rehash, the other side will be waiting. biden knew what to say but not how to act. A little more presidential and he would have won hands down.
Ryan was toned down to much and it gave him a weak look. He will know now what he did wrong but the horse has left the barn. Tomorrow we all will know.

Ryan was supposed to crush him and did not. In a tie contest, Biden wins.

Biden did all he could effectively - interrupt and break Ryan's flow. Stay on message. Hit the talking points for good news clips. Don't say anything too stupid.

His old man / sonny boy routine will play well with the dem base.

Ryan missed chances to hammer him on national defense and spending.

I'll give Ryan a slight edge, only because he pretty much was polite, and didn't butt in or get excited like Biden did. What I really wanted to hear, from either Romney or Ryan, in either debate, wasn't tax cuts for the wealthy, middle class, business, or anybody else. I want to know how much spending your going to cut. Millions in foreign aid and to the UN. Pensions and medical benifits to politicians that only served 1 or 2 terms. Farm aid to major company's. Dept. of Education and Energy. They can say all they want about tax cuts, somebody is paying those tax's. Years back, the wife and I were in Las Vagas for the shot show. Walking down the strip, looking at all the lights and lasers, my comment was, it's not the winners paying the electric bill, it's the losers. The big casino's might pay the bill, but, the money comes from the losers. It's time we turned out the lights. gypsyman

I don't ever remember so many blatant lies from a dem in such a short time as biden did last night. His constant interrupting and ridiculous fake laughter were approved of and allowed by the libbydem mod. What a crock, 2 against 1. POWDERMAN.  >:( >:(

Biden looked more like an enraged school bully who instead of acting mature , wanted to go out back and engage in a fist fight .  It is a typical sign of immaturity and low self worth .
And it all was text book Biden , in the past he has threatened to punch people in the nose or give them a black eye if they disagree with him.  It came as no surprise to me whatsoever , he is an embarrassment to the office he holds as much as his boss is .
He comes out right off the bat with being rude and obnoxious in order to catch the better man off
guard .  Aided by the MSM as usual , it only shows that the left has nothing to stand on as far as the truth or any real substance . In four years they both have pushed their weight around , mocked God,
trashed the Constitution , bad mouthed our millitary personel ,and we are more hated now than ever before over seas.

It is easy to call a near tie if you take the debate at face value . But add a bit of depth to it. Ask yourself who you would want to break a tie vote in the senate if a bill was introduced to limit gun ownership or some other important bill. Would you want some guy that acted like a spoiled child or one who listen intently and had his ducks in a row knew facts and offered the truth not rehashed lies. To me the vice president displayed the typical MO of the group that said sign it so we can read it ...... then laughed their collective azzes off at what they had done to the American public.
If ya can see it ya can hit it !

The single greatest continuous stimulus of our economy since the 2010 election has been the Presidential election and the campaign dollars flowing in every direction.

The Republicans should start with a picture of Obama bowing to the Saudi King and tag line says "No More Years".

I view it much as I would a talent contest.  If you don't have a good honest to goodness singing voice, you at least have to be loud and a showboat.  Biden was loud showy and deceitful.  Some of what he said was at the very least a lie and he knew it.  Most of what he said was just Dumycrat talking points that attempt to put lipstick on a pig.  Perhaps the biggest load of crap that Biden dropped last night was how neutral and objective the Dumycrat appointed justices to the Supreme Court are.

Ryan had a calm factual demeanor and sure he used talking points too.  The difference in talking points is that we have the benefit of knowing what Dumycrat philosophy has wrought.  I'm not convinced that what Romney and Ryan are proposing will solve our problems, but we sure need to try something different.

What I would like to hear from our politicians is a recognition that massive cuts in spending must be made and that those cuts have to come first from government programs like foreign aid, farm subsidies and yes, even defense and education.  Programs like Social Security and Medicare also will have to take hits, but those must be dealt with with velvet gloves.

I wouldn't call breaking a tied vote in the Senate as important since the VP will vote with his party.

This debate was not worth a pinch of nothing in the presidential run. Both sides knew this.
what it is, is an opportunity to probe the enemy, see what works and what dont. Biden was sent in to test the waters for the o to see if people would look favorable on a laughing, loud, wise cracking ass. If the polls respond then the o will come out Tuesday night and try the same, if not, they will look at what did work and shoot for that. The same for the other side.

Biden was better.  It's not surprising the TV pundits favor Ryan.  That's who the media bosses support.  And what the media shouts, Americans fall in hook, line and sinker.   :D
Study after study has shown how dangerous distracted driving is yet people continue to talk on their cell phones while driving. Driving in the U.S. requires your full attention. Many states and countries have made it illegal to use a cell phone while operating a motor vehicle and the federal government should follow their lead. Banning the use of cell phones while driving would have the added benefit of making the no-texting law enforceable.

all this bad mouthing of Joe Biden. i remember him well; common man, one of the guys. He used to work in the coal mines with Neil, and then play football all night.

this from the last election, but it nails Joe Biden just right. Pre-debate...

and post-debate...
